That’s easy.

It’s being able to produce, day in, day out, the parts to the same exacting tolerances, without costing an and a leg and thus killing their profit margins. THAT is the secret sauce that makes them so successful.

I don’t know the spec name for it, but I know it’s a pain to try and take any measurements from it. My Slacker Portable radio also uses it.
